You experience the daily life and culture in Tanzania while witnessing the growth of one of the fastest-growing African economies.
This internship focuses on introducing the student to African Community Life and Culture.
The internship outcome is learning how to use and getting experience implementing your education skills in developing countries with limited capacities.
We introduce you to various everyday activities, such as working in orphanages, nursery schools, primary and secondary education classes, families, African music events, and how the local governments work.
Academic-level team leaders are present every day to supervise your work. We also use a weekly plan and report system to ensure you succeed with placement tasks.
Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
The program is ongoing, so the start dates are adjustable.
You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable safaris and tours.
We commonly have 15-40 students from different parts of the world, from over 400 universities we cooperate with, and representing a variety of professions.
