We are looking for a technician with a critical mindset to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for production of micro-organisms at lab-scale. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performing microbiological work, performing quality controls and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The role requires strong technical skills, experience with microbiology techniques, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs and documents routine production of micro-organisms and QC analyses in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
- Accurately collects, records and reviews production data to ensure batch-to-batch consistency, promptly escalating deviations or atypical results to supervisors.
- Understands how test procedures and product specifications support smooth manufacturing operations, on-time release, and compliance with end-use and business requirements.
- Understands relevance of the test procedures and product specifications to the end-use requirements of the business.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
- Proficiency in handling and culturing microorganisms.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- You draw energy from collective success.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, verbal and written in English (Dutch is a plus).
